Tiger Cowrie seashells are smooth, shiny, egg shaped shells with long narrow slit-like openings. These cowry shells are usually whitish or pale brown with dark spots and blotches and have a natural porcelain-like shine. They can be found under coral rocks in the Indo-Pacific.
