Strombus sea shells are white on the inside and brown and white on the outside. These common looking shells can be used in baskets, lamps and craft projects. Sometimes they are crafted into unopened roses by cutting off the tip and inserting a stem. They are common in shallow waters of the S.W. Pacific.
