These large hermit crab shells have a wide opening. You could say it is oval or d shaped. Gray bonnet seashells are very sturdy andt not too heavy. Some hermit crabs prefer this shape opening.

Most of our gray bonnet hermit crab shells are gray, white and tan with some darker brown near the lip.
