Gray bonnet seashells are tan, white, brown and gray. The body whorl is plump and rounded but the overall shape is oval. The aperature is very wide and there are 3 or 4 strong spines at the base of the outer lip.
Gray bonnet seashells are found in the Indo-Pacific in intertidal waters and off shore on sand. They are of the Cassidae family.
