Volute lapponica seashells are oblong with a rounded pointy tip. They have many shades of tan and brown with unique patterns on every shell. Most volute sea shells live in shallow, tropical seas but some come from deep waters and a few from polar waters. Volutes are carnivorous, rapid crawlers.

Center cut lapponica shells are also available.
