Red abalone seashells are usually small. The under side is silver and the polished topside is red and silver white. Our current stock does not have as much red as the picture shows but they are still beautiful. They're found on rocks in intertidal waters up to 495 feet deep anywhere from from Oregon to Baja California. The meat is delicious and the shell is often used in jewelry.
