Butterfly venus clam shells are beautiful. They are yellowish orange brown with four spotted rays that are reddish brown. The texture makes it appear to have a snake skin like appearance. These hard shelled clams can be found in the Indian Ocean. They have a matching top and bottom that are glued together.
